Dharamsala T20I between India and Bangladesh moved to Gwalior

The first T20I between India and Bangladesh, which was scheduled to be held in Dharamsala, will now be played in Gwalior, the BCCI announced. The change in venues was necessitated due to "upgrades and renovation work being carried out by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association in the dressing rooms," the board said in a release.
The match, which will still be played on October 6, will be the first international fixture at the newly-built Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium. It will be the first international match in Gwalior since Sachin Tendulkar hit a double hundred in an ODI against South Africa.
There's also a swap in venues for the first and second T20Is against England. While the dates remain the same (January 22 and 25 respectively), the first match will now be played in Kolkata instead of Chennai. The MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, which was earlier scheduled to host the series opener, will host the second T20I.
"The venue change was necessitated following a request from Kolkata Police to the Cricket Association of Bengal regarding their prior Republic Day commitments and obligations," the BCCI said.
