BCB eyes swift return for Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain from Pakistan

The Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Thursday that they are trying to bring back their two cricketers- Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain- from Pakistan as soon as possible.
BCB earlier stated that they are monitoring the condition of their cricketers as they are in Pakistan playing the PSL for their respective teams. However, a drone strike near the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday afternoon has thrown the PSL into uncertainty, forcing the postponement of two matches and raising serious safety concerns among overseas players-including Bangladesh's Rishad and Rana. It was learnt that both the cricketers are not willing to stay in Pakistan to play further in the tournament.
"The Board is working closely with both the PCB and the Bangladesh High Commission to make certain that the cricketers feel safe and secure during their stay in Pakistan. Furthermore, the BCB is coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure that all arrangments are in place to facilitate the eventual departure of the players from Pakistan in a timely and secure manner," BCB said in a statement on Thursday.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board informed that they are in constant communication with both the players. "The BCB attaches the highest priority to the safety and security of its players," the statement added.
